Duties and Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine equipment and plant isolations and ensuring that all other precautions as stated on the permit are adhered to.

  • Starting and stopping equipment when required after carrying out the pre-start & stop checks.

  • Minimising the number of station, gas compression or individual equipment trips by controlling the production process and acting on process parameters and alarms.

  • Keeping accurate logs of the equipment parameters in the zone and the information in the zone logbooks.

  • Reporting any anomalies that occur in the zone to the control room operator, chief operator and/or section supervisor.

  • Carrying out first line maintenance within the working zones and ensuring that routine sampling and lube/seal oil reservoirs for equipment are in order.

  • Carrying out interlocks system review and updates the logbook.

  • Responsible for the general housekeeping, prevention of spills and rain water drain off in the zone.

Job Qualifications & Skills / Selection Criteria

Position Qualilification / Experience

  • Graduate in Production Operations /Technical background via studies or practical exposure

  • Minimum Qualification of BAC/ BAC + 1 or BAC + 2

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in hydrocarbon processing and Operations

  • Speak French with basic knowledge of English

  • Able to build and maintain strong relationship with team members player
