Duties and Responsibilities

Purpose of the Job: 

Advise, manage and co-ordinate delivery of all projects by project teams against specified strategies and objectives . 

Key job duties or responsibilities: 

Strategic understanding and translation 

Understanding both Marketing and KPMG’s strategy and objectives 

Understanding the clients strategy and is able to effectively communicate and discuss it with the client and project team – and the ability to APPLY these to all projects and advise clients accordingly 

Building and maintaining client relationships 

Good relationships are established and maintained between marketing and all internal/external clients 

Pro-actively following up on all projects and actively communicating developments with clients regularly and accurately 

Clients expectations are successfully managed 

Gaining and maintaining familiarity with clients products, business objectives, strategies, and industry knowledge 

Project management 

Generation and updating of strategic project plans on a needs basis and distributing to all concerned 

Ensuring projects are kept within budget 

Understanding of internal teams roles, skills and process in order to sell services to clients 

Sourcing of best suppliers at the best price, preparing purchase orders, and ensure delivery against brief, within policy. 

Effectively manage resources, and is accountable for the quality and signing off of all projects 

Debriefing of all complex projects with team to ensure learning, and service levels are maintained 

Responsible for quality of final deliverables 

Managing teams 

Assisting project teams to understand and deliver on their objectives and deliverables 

Ensuring project teams are effectively using all resources to deliver on projects and for the success of the department 

Ensuring compliance with all processes and KPMG brand regulations 

Effectively performance manages team members.

Job Qualifications & Skills / Selection Criteria

2 - 4 years experience in a similar role 

· Project management experience 

· MS office knowledge 

· Marketing knowledge
